JOYTIDE styles are handmade using cellulose acetate to achieve a deep gloss and high transparency.  

Acetate is made up of a (bio) polymer derived from wood (tree) pulp and/or natural cotton fibres.

The acetate sheets are skilfully cut and hand polished to form the frames and polishing releases the beautiful colours within the acetate.

Every style in the Joytide Studio collection is made with stainless steel metal for extra strength and durability.

Nylon lenses for improved fit, durability and eye safety. UV400 and meeting all necessary requirements to protect against harmful rays.
